What to expect

For new clients, your qualified therapist will:

 

  • Assess your case and gather information through your health history

  • Focus on corrective bodywork, typically clients perform a series of movements and NeuroKinetic therapy assessments, which help identify patterns, joints or muscles be further investigated.

  • Create a treatment plan and specific goals will be tailored to suit

  • Traditional massage techniques are used through the treatment.

  • During the session the client will be asked to get up, walk, stand or move to see how the corrections made on the table are reflected in their body.

  • This is non-invasive and does not require any clothing removal

  • Rehabilitation training concludes the treatment with the breakdown of exercises to complement the session are demonstrated and assigned as part of the corrective homework

  • Please note that if you are not looking for corrective bodywork but just wish to receive a therapeutic massage, this can be tailored to you needs.

Please note that this is a professional client-therapist relationship and all health details will remain confidential

Following your massage treatment:

 

  • Drink plenty of water

  • Rest and refrain from heavy activities and physical exertion for 12 hours

  • Apply heat or ice pack as advised by your therapist

  • Muscular soreness is normal after deeper muscle work but should ease after 1-2 days

  • Please keep in touch with your therapist if you have any concerns

 

New clients are asked to fill out a client health form. You can download the health form and fill it out prior to your appointment.
